“Akhmatova and Stalin” [Lecture in Russian]
by Dr. Nonna Tarkhova, Российский государственный военный архив [Russian State Military Archive] (retired)

Nonna Tarkhova received her doktor nauk degree in Russia with a dissertation on the Red Army and collectivization. She served in the Russian State Military Archive for over 35 years, primarily in the Document Publication Dept., finishing her career there as the Head of the Dept. Tarkhova also served several years in the Russian State Social Sciences University as a professor in the Dept. of Human Resource Management. Her monographs, both in Russian, are a coauthored volume, The Omsk Offensive of the Red Army in 1919 (Omsk, 1989), and The Red Army and Stalinist Collectivization, 1928-1933 (Russian Political Encyclopedia, series on the History of Stalinism, 2010).
