ELEMENTARY HEBREW SCHOLARSHIPS The ASU Jewish Studies Center is offering scholarships of $960 for CLI students of HEBREW. To apply, complete the Hebrew Scholarship section of the application form

MELIKIAN SCHOLARS AWARDS
Melikian Scholars Awards for Study in Arizona: Awards of $700 each for superior students in any course other than Elementary Russian. Non-ASU students are eligible.

Melikian Scholars Award for Study in Russia: Up to $3,600 for 1 superior ASU student studying Russian in any of CLI's 8-week overseas programs.

Melikian Scholars Awards for Study in both Arizona and Abroad: Up to $3,600 for superior students from any institution studying any level of any CLI language other than Russian in any CLI hybrid program or any CLI overseas program. Priority, in order, goes to students of Armenian, then Uzbek, then Turkish, then Persian, then all other languages.

PROJECT GO Project GO fully funds summer study of Persian (Farsi), Turkish, Uzbek, or Russian, in Arizona and/or abroad, for selected ROTC students. Admission is limited and extremely competitive. See the Project GO at ASU page for details.

To apply, fill out the appropriate section of the CLI application form.

HASTINGS INTERNATIONAL DISTINGUISHED ENGAGEMENT AWARDS
The Hastings International Distinguished Engagement Awards honor CLI students who:

  • have distinguished themselves academically
  • plan to pursue the study of their language overseas within the next year
  • plan careers that require mastery of their CLI language

Hastings Awards range up to $2000.
