Ms. Muradimova received her degree in English Philology from the Uzbek World Languages University (Tashkent). Her areas of teaching and research interest include: second language acquisition, sociolinguistics, and American literature. She is a member of the UZTEA (Uzbekistan Teachers of English Association).

She currently is serving as an Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) at ASU and is teaching Uzbek. The Fulbright FLTA program is sponsored by the United States Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and administered by the Institute of International Education.

Please note: Ms. Muradimova's colleague in the Fulbright FLTA program, Ms. Umtul Ayesha of Pakistan, will be making a presentation on Pakistan & Pashtuns immediately before Ms. Muradimova's presentation.
