The Choncoff Fund for Macedonian-American Understanding and Exchange

Established in 1996 with a gift from the family and friends of the late Tempe librarian and bookseller Mary Choncoff, the Fund:

• Cosponsors the annual Choncoff Lecture in Balkan Studies presented by a scholar from Macedonia;
• Offers scholarship support to needy students in the CLI Ohrid Practicum;
• Provides short-term assistance and start-up funds for visiting scholars and professionals from southeastern Europe.
